Following the tragic events of this passed weekend Producer Shawty Redd made his 1st court appearance & is yet to be formally charged.

not so happy seing as the very 1st story of the year is a murder saga surrounding one of Atlanta's most prominent producers of the new age.

According to various news sources award winning producer Shawty Redd has been arrested on murder charges.The super producer is currently being held and waiting for his arraignment. The incident apparently took place after he was involved in an altercation which led to the murder of an unidentified victim. Shawty Redd surrendered himself to the police early this morning.

Shawty Redd is best known for producing such hits as Snoop's "Sexual Seduction", Drama's "Left Right Left", and an array of Young Jeezy hits including, "Trap or Die", "Air Forces", and "Who Dat".
