Before my time Pt 2

The DOC,
Before the chronic dropped DOC was that dude, he is credited for writing a good amount of NWA stuff and a the majority of the chronic. Snoop credited The DOC for helping build the concepts around Doggystyle.
3 wks after dropping his debut album a tragic accident would completely alter his voice ultimately ending his rapping career
Imagine if he could still rap

Before my time

This week we look at some careers that were cut short way before their potential was acknowledged and No Tupac and biggie do not fall into to this category simply because they already had a fair amount of success prior to dieng. Some of the people on the List might still be alive not all of them but some. Basically its paying homage to who may have had mad potential but didn't get that shot to show their potential.

Art of War pt 3

Much as some very Prime records have come as a result of these Beefs some very Corny beefs. Back in 2002 Jermaine Dupri and Dr Dre had a brief back n forth that had everybody asking "how much do we care to hear these two go at it?" Xzibit & Eminem also Jumped in and it just became extremely Lame.
Jaz-O (formerly Big Jaz) took on long time time Affiliate and once pretege Jay Z and the entire Rocafella records and its not the records that made the beef wak it was more so the basis (which to this day nobody understands why...)
Camron and Nas went at it for a brief moment or better yet camron went in on Nas and called out Nas, His daughter, He's Deceased Mother and and everybody went like "whoa whoa whoa dude that was completely unnecessary."
JD Vs Aftermath

Jaz O Vs Rocafella

Camron Vs Nas

Art of War pt 2

Now since we already know all Hip-Hop heads are thirsty for blood lets get down to BI

Dre said back in 1995 on the Def Jam documentary "the Show" that its all entertainment, unfortunately sometimes that line is crossed becasue some guys are extra sensitive and it can get real sour but then again there is the good Music that comes as a result of diss records

For example

Deathrow Vs Ruthless Records

Ice Cube Vs NWA

Beanie Sigel Vs Jadakiss

Art of War

I have been riding with this Hip-Hop thing for a minute now(18 yrs to be excact ). Unfortunately/Fortunately this thing wouldn't be what it is without conflict.
A lot of people Make references to Pac n BIG(RIP) as the basis of why battling/ beefing aint cool, i disagree cause as we may know or maybe not know the two of them died from completely non hip-hop related circumstances. Fine, the details are sketchy but i don’t see the relation, or maybe i jus like to see a good fight.
With that being said this week I have been going down a brief summary of Classic battles that produced some of the best records ever "Fuckn wit Dre Day" "No Vaseline" "real Compton City Gees" "The Bitch in you"
All these records were classics and they made Hip-Hop real and Entertaining, i don’t condone the violence that may come as a result of these beefs but as long as it goes no more beyond an ass whoopin we are good ( am old school Knuckling up is good for ur health every now and then)
The game is competitive and why not be the beat the Best while your at it.

I should have more coming soon this is jus the begining.

ie i dont know how this blog shit right so i am tryna learn as go. Watch me become a pro within no time. peace!

All this talk about Hip-Hop being dead has me asking if it is possible that the one thing that kept me going through the most difficult times of my life could be coming to an end.
I put this Blog together so as to make an assessment of how many people really gave a flying Eff, also to make my contribution in reviving what could possibly the most important entertainment phenomenon of our time and cause i love it (not in a corny brown sugar way)
I am pretty new to this Blogin thing I dont even know if i am spelling the word blog right but we shall see if the pulse of Hiphop can be used to gauge the state of the art.
